The New World has been discovered! Now it is time to examine and settle it.

The players discover and produce the New World starting on the East Coast and moving westward, and deploy their settlers on the trails, in the town, in the farms, and on the plains.

The skills of the players to develop the location and use their robbers, shopkeepers, trappers, and farmers will establish who is victorious.

The players place land tiles turn by turn. As they do so, the trails, towns, plains, and farms emerge and grow. On these, the players can deploy their settlers to earn points.

Players score points during the game and at the end. The player with the most points after the final scoring is the winner of New World Carcassonne.

New World Carcassonne

I am not a fan of Carcassonne series but it is extremely popular with plenty of other boardgamers that I know. If you want a quick game with some challenge the Carcassonne series of games are for you.

Essentially, this game is a remake of the original Carcassonne; it is rethemed to be in North America with some slight play differences.

So should you get this game if you already own Carcassonne? Well, that depends. If you like the series, then by all means do get it. New World Carcassonne will definitely complete your collection.
