Glen More

Here are a couple of thoughts inside of this Glen More Board Game review.

  • Every player represents a different clan

In Glen Far more Each player represents a various clan that desires to expand its territory.

No matter whether you try to get a new pasture for your sheep and cattle or grow corn, which then normally goes into the production of whisky, no matter whether you sell your goods on the numerous markets or invest in the cultivation of particular locations such as lakes and castles, it always a question of the right choice at the right time.

Glen More presents a distinctive turn mechanism.

Players take territory tiles from a rondell. Picking a tile has not only influence on the actions you get by the surrounding tiles in your territory, it also determines when you will have your subsequent turn (and how a lot of turns you will have in the game).

But having a lot of turns is not usually the best technique for a profitable chieftain.

Glen Much more is 6 in the Alea medium box series, and is rated a four on the alea complexity level.

Glen A lot more is for two-five players, ages 10+ and takes about an hour to play.

Dominion Seaside

Dominion Seaside – Review

Dominion Seaside

  • 2 to 4 Player Game
  • 30 Minutes to play
  • Nautical expansion to the common Medieval card game Dominion
  • Plays in about 30 minutes
  • Medieval Nautical theme

Dominion: Seaside is an expansion to both Dominion and Dominion: Intrigue. As such, it does not contain material for a full game. Especially, it does not contain the basic Treasure, Victory, Curse, or Trash cards.

Therefore, you will want either the base game or Intrigue to play with this expansion, and you will need to have experience playing Dominion with either of the very first two games.

It is created to operate with either or both of these sets, and any future expansions that may possibly be published.

Dominion Seaside

Dominion Seaside is an oceanside themed expansion to Dominion. What sets this expansion apart is the inclusion of “Duration” cards which last for the current turn and the next turn.

“Duration” cards are colored orange and, when played, will have effects that benefit your current turn and your next turn.

Dominion Seaside adds another level of complexity to the already popular Dominion game. I find it very enjoyable and well worth it.

However, you should keep in mind that I am a Dominion enthusiast :)

With cards, players can settle new worlds and build more developments, gaining both victory points and card powers that provide advantages in certain phases.

The player, who best manages his cards, phase and bonus selections, and card powers to build the greatest space empire, wins. The winner is the player with the most victory points.
