Control of India at the beginning 18th century is up for grabs.
The 200 year-lengthy rule of the Grand Moguls is collapsing, but they nonetheless have some power. Now is the time for the Maharishis and princes to take control of the Indian subcontinent.
The players use method and cunning to win influence over northwestern India, province by province and city by city.
The most profitable player (and the winner) is the one who establishes the most magnificent palaces and has the most power in the end. Players: 3 – five Ages: 12 and up Playing Time: 60 minutes
List Cost: $ 39.99
Price: $ 29.73

Taj Mahal
This is among my favorite games (but then again, I am also a fan of India-themed games). This game is designed by Reiner Knizia who has some great mathematical functions in his games.
Taj Mahal is like poker; there is a “chicken” aspect to it. When do you fold? Do you bid up high or bow out and take your current leavings.
What I like about this game is the tension! It is so palpable and can be experienced in about 75 minutes!
If you haven’t had a chance to try out this game, then I think you owe it to yourself to try it out. It’s like a poker evening, without the money exchanging hands. And that’s probably a good thing, right? ![]()
Happy gaming!
